How Do I Know If I Am Eligible For The OTC Benefit?
If you have an Amerigroup Medicare Advantage plan, you may be eligible to receive a quarterly spending allowance to buy select OTC products.
In addition to your OTC benefit, you may qualify for other eligible health-related benefits. Check your plan documents to see which benefits your plan includes. This OTC benefit replaces the former Healthy Benefits+™ OTC program.
How Do I Access My OTC Spending Allowance?
A quarterly OTC spending allowance is pre-loaded to your Benefits Prepaid Card on the first day of each quarter. Unused amounts rollover to the next quarter but must be used by the end of the calendar year.
Where Can I Use My Benefits Prepaid Card?
Your Benefits Prepaid Card can be used to purchase eligible OTC items at participating retail stores in-person. You can also order products online, by phone, or by mail exclusively through our OTC partner, NationsBenefits, and get them delivered to your home at no additional cost.
Please note: Your Benefits Prepaid Card is not accepted at online retailers like Walmart.com, but in-store purchases are accepted.
