We won’t rest until every American enjoys the same quality health care benefits. And this, we know, will take talent and the enthusiasm and bright ideas of brand new recruits!
That’s where our Corporate Leadership Development Program comes in.
The Leadership Development Program (LDP) is designed to help you easily transition from the academic world to an exciting business environment. Two years of rotational assignments, formal coursework and leadership training will prepare you to transition into a variety of roles across the business. You’ll gain the knowledge, versatility and leadership skills to excel in many areas throughout our organization.
Are You Right for the Job?
We are seeking graduates with less than three years of work experience, as well as those with 3 to 5 years of work experience. A GPA of at least 3.0 is a must, as are strong analytical, project management and leadership skills.
Where Will You Go?
Based in Virginia Beach, assignments may include rotations in Tampa, Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, Nashville, Baltimore, NYC or other cities. You will gain experience in areas such as Finance, Risk Management, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Communications, Information Technology, Procurement, Claims, Call Center Operations, Health Care Management Services, Health Care Delivery Systems, Business Development, Process Improvement, Project Management and more.
How Will You Get There?
Through mentoring and exposure to senior leaders, you’ll be challenged with robust, high-visibility assignments. You’ll develop business process expertise and receive candid performance feedback. And you’ll be working to help American families stay healthy.
What happens after the LDP?
Our program graduates have transitioned into Amerigroup roles such as Project Manager, Senior Decision Support Analyst, Medical Practice Consultant and Manager of Health Plan Operations.
